An idea: How about we sticky any thread that reaches 125,000+ views?

    Very few threads get to 125,000 views, but the those that do tend to be teflon'd over the long haul. Manny's What are you listening to thread, in this thread every post must have picture 2.0, Terrence Williams PR department, official should I thread, Lin thread, etc.

    This could act as a hall of fame thread, as you will.

    no thanks, in a few years we would have the first pages filled with stricky threads, and you would have to go to pages 3 or 4 to see the new threads.

    and sometimes few stricky threads doesnt get posts in weeks, but there would be in the first page.

    I believe in natural selection of threads. If people want to keep up with them, they'll stay on the first page.

    There's no reason to clutter the board with stickies. If you want to sort the forums by thread views, that option is already available.
