if you look, you will find plenty.
It does not have to be a stretch PF.
Anybody at the 3, 4 or 5 positions that can hit the 3 consistently.

    Al Horford - 4 years, 113 million
    http://www.spotrac.com/nba/boston-celtics/al-horford-2199/

Marvin Williams - 4 years, 55 Million (singed in 2016 and doesn't have the injury issues that Ryan has)

could have had mo speights for the vet minimum and still had $15M+ leftover to add a very good player to the roster

Idk why people still defend this guy...he is nowhere close to being worth his contract, and it’s a huge problem

he is a straight up dud in so many games

he’s only taking 6 threes a game, that should be so much higher

they have got to find a way to get him more involved in the offense, and he needs to stop passing up so many shots

he should be taking 12 shots a night with 8 of them being threes to help offset his lack of usefulness in several other things because the “but that gravity tho” rationalization isn’t cutting it anymore

I want to like Ryno, but the fact that he’s making close to 20 mil when he should be making like 8 mil is too much to ignore

    Bold= cause
    underline= effect

You can count on more than one of your hand's how many times he passes good looks up. He's such a p***y sometimes.

I am afraid non of these players has proven record of shooting 3p at high volume and hitting it at high percentage as Anderson
perhaps reddick only and i am afraid he cant play 4 or 5

its one thing to shot 38% from 3pt at 2 attempts per game and its quite different thing to do it while shooting 3pts 6 - 8 times per game

Ersan can do that all. But is he really that much better than Ryno? He sure is cheaper.

Morey is a jock! Ryan Anderson can earn 20m$/year! The team wants to compete, The first sth. is to discard Ryan

Can Ryno just pretend to have some sort of career ending injury so we can get the disabled player exception for him and eventually buy him out without the cap penalty?

Pay him some hush money and he gets a nice long paid vacation.

Do us a solid Ryno. Morey did you a solid with your overpaid contract.

So I guess we should have paid him 9000 million a year because a vastly overpaid stretch 4 is better than none so we could have a chance this year.

that would be stupid honestly. He is a big time expiring, plus he can shoot the 3, thats not gonna happen.

I just want to know where all those Anderson supporters are. I only hear crickets.

Anderson was a top trade target and fixation of the GARM for years, well before we signed him. and when those of us pointed out that he couldn't play defense or rebound or basically do anything other than shoot, those who were on the ryno wagon tried to make those who weren't feel stupid. "You don't understand basketball; ryno will spread the floor and all of our problems will go away."

And then last year when we signed him to a contract that would make Juwan Howard shutter, many of those same people tried to make those of us who thought it was too rich ....wait for it ....feel stupid. "You don't understand the cap. This contract won't end up hurting us; we did what we had to do; stop complaining."

This team is much better than I could have imagined, and I was wrong about MDA. But where are those that were just plain dead wrong about Anderson? Where are you? Show yourself!

Worst Morey decision ever and the irony is that it will likely undermine his entire championship building strategy....star chasing.

Hey, I like you as a poster so I really don't want to argue with you since you have some quality posts.
At the end of the day, we need more than 3 point shooting from Anderson.
We also expect more than the ability to shoot threes for a guy paid 20 million.

A lot of these other guys give you defense, rebounding as well as some post up play.

The only thing Ryan gives you is 3 point shooting, and if his shots are not falling, he gives you nothing.
Furthermore, the other team does not have to defend him aggressively, which means they can either double Harden or Paul when Ryan is playing.
You have to believe that there is some level of discord in the locker room with the way Ryan is playing.

The writing was on the wall in regards to how bad Ryan sucked in the game where DanTony had Tarik Black start the 4th quarter.
The team is pretty desperate for someone to step up, especially with all the injuries.

He was a -18 tonight. Literally unplayable down the stretch. Just a liability on both ends of the floor.

Yep, he's dead weight at this point. He might be ready to retire anyways considering the fat deal he got.
