Interesting they followed the comics with Carl's eye, but not with Spoiler Rick's Arm, which was lost before way before.
Enjoyed all the action. So the walkers are attracted to whimpers or crying sounds? But walking around in broad daylight with no cover for their faces was okay?
That was well done, just like how it would look in a comic book -- multiple frames in a row of each person slicing, with them centered in the frame. I might go so far to say that that was the most comic-book looking action sequence I've seen since Sin City.
That was the worse part, hoping they don't kill off Rosita since she's the only remaining eye candy.... One of the better episodes in recent memory. A lot more enjoyable than most....
I woulda spoilered but these have already been posted so... Carl Poppa The Pirate... Arrrr! Losing the MILF will help Rick since he won't have to worry about her or her awful kids. Just like Capt Kirk... babe-a-weeking throughout the galaxy, Sheriff Rick can focus on beasting while dipping into the occasional survival babe who gets killed off. Also glad both of the MILFs kids got killed off. Even on Talking Dead they were annoying (antiquing? Seriously? "Not that there is anything wrong with that...") Awesome use of high-power artillery by Darryl and "the Ginger". Great writing in that early scene (Did you get cut?" and "Nibble on that".). One spoiler: Spoiler Is Glenn part cat? He is at least down three so far...
I like how when the show comes back you can tell how much each person on the show has aged/gotten older since the previous one and in her case her face looked far "saggier" than before, it was time...
Didn't really notice her as "saggier". I guess I wasn't paying attention. I did notice Nida had grown up some. I'm so glad they killed off that stupid family. God, that kid was so stupid. They should have put a blindfold on him because they were all holding hands. Everything would have been fine then. And, that dumb brother of his just had no common sense about him. I could understand the Mom giving up at that moment. Yea...time to move on from those weaktards.
It's much more obvious in the younger actors, I can notice it in the hairstyles as well. Something to do with continuity in appearance, I can spot it every time; like Han Solo's hair in TFA; they shot his scene with Kylo first, you can tell by how tight his hair is cut compared to when we first see him in the movie...
That was awesome just for axing all the annoying folks. But yea, they setup a stage for a more bad-ass Rick's group to fight you know what. Expecting downhill from here. Spoiler I was half expecting Carol to pull the trigger on Morgan for shock factor.
That was a really, really poorly shot sequence(the death scenes). Awful camera work. There was also no suspense. It felt rushed. It just happens. "Great, those characters are out of the way, now let's move on to the next scene."
