Although the trip with Rick and the arm thing with Carl was new, the whole scene (Abraham died earlier before they met Negan) was out of the comics.

Beth died long ago. That is Sophia. She is still alive in the comics. Sophia became Glenn and Maggie's adopted child....basically. The TV show and comic diverged on a few characters. Sophia never went missing in the comic.
SO basically all the people who were complaining about the show before this episode were just complaining because it wasn't bloody enough? lol People are so strange...
Why is everyone so infatuated with Carol staying? If she wants to go, let her go. She got cheat codes or something?

It was pretty obvious this was going to be a soft episode exploring The Kingdom. Maybe it's my imagination but it seems they tried to play up like this episode would also touch on Alexandria and the Negan aftermath? All the previews they were showing in the build up to the second episode centered around the key group but...oh hey everyone...surprise...those are for the episode after next. Personally, I hope Carol dies pretty soon because her schtick is getting pretty annoying...miss oh I've got to be alone and away from everyone because I don't like the make-believe towns pretending they've got it figured out all the while knowing it can all go to hell-in-a-hand basket at the drop of a hat. They should either kill her or just write her off as she went out on her own...and we no longer care. Carol can't cope! Oh boo hoo! See how she copes in that Negan round circle where he was playing batter up!

i wanted to marathon the rest of the season after this epsiode BUT NO! i have to wait another week to seee what happens to rick's group.
It was a bad episode to time with Halloween. Should have gone rogue and did something different and even more gory for the Halloween episode. Instead, we get freaking Camelot. I would have rather they delayed the first episode to last night.
I actually liked this episode, or at least King Ezekiel, he will be a good character to add to the mix. I wonder how many people in his kingdom know who he really is, I cant imagine Carol is the first person he's trusted with this.
