Did anyone catch this? The premise of the show is a High School Chemistry Teacher's life is going so badly that he decides to cook crystal meth for money.

i watched it - the first 30 minutes or so were depressing before it started to get funny.

it kind of reminded me of american beauty crossed w/ arrested development.

Yeah, I was watching it live and had a hard time with the first 20 minutes or so. I ended up recording it and will watch it later.

I remember wanting to watch it...but it's real easy to forget about AMC, especially when I don't get it listed among my HD channels.

I'll try to tivo it. I like the lead in it.

Is it done as well as "Mad Men"? If it is I'll definitely give it a shot.

Doesn't this show star the guy who played Tim Whatley, the Jewish dentist from Seinfeld?

loved Mad Men, after first episode, I will say as well although a completely different looking show. Mad Men was very stylish while this is sort of gritty.

I looked it up on imdb.com and the guy's name is Bryan Cranston (the one who played Whatley on Seinfeld). It says on imdb that Cranston is only in 1 episode of this Breaking Bad and that's the pilot but he is the one guy I keep seeing in all of the commercials.

I wouldn't trust imdb...they've been getting worse as of late. He's definitely the lead, though.

I am REALLY excited about this series. I forgot to Tivo it yesterday and hope they rerun the series opener

I still have yet to watch Mad Men. My tivo has the final 6 episodes - but i need to start from the top.

can't wait for Mad Men to be released on DVD

I read that the Malcolm in the Middle dad gained 15 pounds for this role to look more like a doughy typical chem teacher.

I watched the first two episodes so far and have the next four on my ps3. I thought the first episode was very good. Feels like a bit of a Weeds/Dexter hybrid, but I like it enough to keep watching.

I like this show. Thought the pilot was the best. The most recent one with Raymond Cruz was pretty crazy too.

So what did Walt do with Crazy 8's body? I don't think they ever showed what he did to dispose of the body. Did I miss it, or did the show just leave us hangin?

    Anybody watch the finale?

Raymond Cruz is crazy. Loved him in Blood In Blood Out. He needs more roles.

Nothing was really resolved in the finale, so we can only hope there's another season in the works.
