Fair enough. But a good show makes you care what's going to happen. I don't care how they dispose of Amelio's corpse. And the drug dealer kid is so dumb it's hard to watch. The suspense for me in episode two was hoping he somehow killed himself with the acid. But I'll at least finish episode 3, given what you all have said. And I believe it is the best show on TV, but me and Mrs. basically watch no TV these days and may be built to stay that way. We did love the Wire and have some more seasons of that to watch, so maybe we'll go back to that. Everybody is interesting and realistic in the Wire, whereas most of TV has the opposite. (Not to rag on TV, it's just really, really hard to do.)
Season 3 is the best, imo. The characters, story and show direction are all fleshed out. And you don't have to watch the first two seasons to understand what's going on. I started on season 3 and then watched the first two seasons via itunes after that. Yeah, the first two seasons are a little worse in quality... (you know, while the show is trying to "find" itself).
