lower the better. but if we do have a salary cap, we should delay the start of the draft....give everyone some time to research.
wekko -- did you see my reply about the options to change the settings inorder to run your team exactly the way you'd like??
Well 12 rounds and 16 teams for one thing. And I don't think it needs to be that different - it was really fun, just screwed up by public polls. It will be just as fun to do it again, now with 12 rounds.
theres no point in doing it again if its essentially the same thing. a hard salary cap adds some critical thinking to the process...
The thing about salaries is that all I found was the top paid players and not every players salaries.
I say 70 mil because there are going to be a lot of great players on a team with big contracts and that's roughly under the luxury tax I think
Like Arjun was saying 2k11 gets real in depth at running plays and what player gets minutes and who gets the most touches. It could make the draft and voting just a little Dynamic
Well we also have only 16 teams, so a salary cap like 70 million might even be too low. Half the number of teams as in real life means more star power packed into each team, and that means higher salaries.
Great point, torque. 16 teams means greater overall talent on the teams. Maybe 80-85 hard cap? That's roughly 6.5-7 mil per player. I'm in favor of 80 million. Once you get your starting 5, your bench shouldn't have any contracts higher than 9 or 10 per year.
