I don't think the point was to give Les credit for acquiring Olajuwon. But he definitely signed the man's paychecks for quite a while. As far as I'm concerned, if Les paid your salary then you qualify. This isn't about a general manager where it's credit they get for the moves they made. C'mon, man. It's like if Lebron retired and people wanted to make an "All Lebron's Team Mates Team" and I want to add Udonis Haslem and you're like "No! Udonis Haslem was in Miami before Lebron got there! Dwyane Wade deserves the credit!" Udonis Haslem was still Lebron's teammate. Hakeem was still Les's employee. All of Les's former employees should be fair game.
So the new owner gets credit for Harden and Chris Paul right? Should I give Les credit for Bill Worrell and Calvin Murphy?
