    you can give credit to Les for Olajuwon, I definitely will not because he was drafted before Les.
    Rudy was coach before Les and everything that happened before July 30, 1993.

    I'll give credit to Les for marketing the crap out of the Rockets to China and for the Toyota Tundra suite i sat in a few times.

    I do agree about the Dmo stuff, though. Any self respecting Rockets fan who would choose Dmo over Scola is a piece of ****.

    If we're talking solely guys who were acquired while Les owned the team, the 12-man roster should look like this:

    PG: Chris Paul / Steve Francis
    SG: James Harden / Clyde Drexler / Cuttino Mobley
    SF: Tracy McGrady / Shane Battier / Ron Artest
    PF: Charles Barkley / Luis Scola
    C: Yao Ming / Dwight Howard

    The toughest call was probably Mobley over Gordon, but all of the other picks were pretty simple.

    To answer this thread's intent, you cannot give Les credit for Dream or Thorpe or as @heypartner said even Cassell.

    And to combat your 1993 statement... I was born LONG before 93. Common sense dictates you don't give Les credit for who was here when he got here. Hell there is no way the next owner will be give credit for Harden. Or do you think they should? I hope not.
