Sorry if this offends anyone but I thought this would be interesting. No Milado's (mixed) included; Starters C - Divac PF - Nowitzki SF - Stojakovic SG - Szczerbiak PG - Nash Bench C - Ilgauskas PF - Pollard SF - Van Horn, Gasol SG - M. Miller, Turkoglu PG - Stockton IR SF - Harpring PG - J. Williams F - Kirelinko What do you guys think?
I'll play a long a little. The most interesting thing to me is none of the 1st teamers are American born. Oh wait, I think Wally is, but isn't his dad a former NBAer so he is different in other respects. How about this, the all International (nonUS) team: Starters C - Divac PF - Nowitzki SF - Stojakovic SG - Turkoglu PG - Nash Bench C - Ilgauskas PF - Gasol F - Kirelinko PG -Jesus (never understood this ref) Parker That team would have the best record in the league and would duke it out with the Lakers for the title.
you guys clearly ovelooked a couple of players: center- Raef Lafrentz SG- Brent Barry center- Brad Miller center- Todd Maccullouch
That came about in the chat when the Rockets first played the Spurs this season. Their announcers, Joel Meyers and Sean Elliott (Meyers, especially) went on and on about how great Tony Parker was. He had a decent game, but it seemed that Francis lit him up pretty good. Anyway, someone in chat picked up on their overwhelming admiration of him and started that nickname.
This was classic...every time I see 'Christ' Parker, I think of his cc.net nickname. BTW...where's Bob Sura! (and Rusty LaRue)
Thanks Manny. That should be the chant everytime Parker touches the ball in games against Houston (where Rocket fans are home or in SA). Too funny
Lafrentz/Divac/Ilgauskas Dirk/Gasol/C.Laettner Peja/Van Horn/Turkoglu Szczerbiak/Barry/M.Miller Nash/Stockton/J. Williams A great player at every position .
