Shved has a $3.2MM cap number. That could be huge a trade.

I can't find the details for the deal. It looks like as part of a three-team deal, we are sending out Troy Daniels and 2 second round picks and getting in Corey Brewer and Alexey Shved?

Is that too good to be true?

Shved makes $3.3M, so he, too, had to be absorbed with the trade exception.

Brewer + Shved = $8M, meaning the Rockets won't be able to absorb any more players with the trade exception.

Shved doesn't need to shoot. He just needs to pass the ball. You need Euro guys to get Euro-type passing.

So the people who thought Morey wanted Rubio, nah, he wanted Shved instead.

Who are we cutting? My guess is Cisco. Second guess is Johnson or Canaan.

On the other hand, that $3.3MM can be aggregated into a big trade come deadline time. Add him with some rookie contracts and you can get yourself to Dragic (or someone who makes close to that) without giving up any rotational players.

Gotta be Cisco. Brewer is a thousand times better than Cisco.

Now, on the wing, we have Ariza, Papa and Brewer.

Pretty good. I wouldn't be surprised if one might be included in a bigger deal around February?

Don't tell him, but we need him and Brewer for potential trade for Gogi by Feb. If PHX bites ... of course, if Rockets take off, we may afford to wait for summer to entice Gogi. \

But Morey, you're the MAN again!!! You are setting up the Rockets to be big winners this Feb and onto April-June.

What does bima expect? The only player the rockets want is an expiring for close to $3 million. There arent many productive players that fit that bill who teams are looking to get rid of.
