I'd love scola for the vet min. There's no down side other than the roster spot and taking minutes up at the 4.

If you trade Jones you'd have a Center rotation of Howard/Capela/Dmo and a PF rotation of Dmo/Smith/Scola. Seems like not enough minutes to go around at the 4. i think the question is would you rather have Smith or Scola assuming there are only so many minutes to give at the 4.

I'm not sure if this happens. We'd have to trade T.jones and I'm sure there would be some additional moving parts; however, that being said, I'd welcome him back any day. He was always one of my favorites. He gave you everything he had in every game. The score or the significance of the game never impacted this effort level.

    Now that is REALLY disturbing!!!!

As for my actual reply to this thread, Scola would fit nicely as a bench player.

If it true I like it.
Scola can give good back up minutes and he plays hard! Emphasis on plays hard.

We might as well use the vet min on someone because right now its looking like Lin will end up either in Denver (to be reunited w/ D'Antoni) or Dallas (to be reunited with old pals Parsons and Bev)

Why bring LIN up in the scola thread? Who cares. How does that impact anything.

That's Scola's secret. He always plays hard.

Rockets can't afford more bad defensive players. At this point Scola is a cone, can't move laterally at all.

Scola is one of my favorite rockets, i dun remember the exact words but he said he is lucky and happy to get paid millions and play the sports he love, therefore, no reason not to give 100% every time he is on the court. love to have him back at vet min, but i m concerned with his defense and rebounding.
