I really like this guy. He's very solid at shot creation and has the tools to be very effective on the defensive end in the NBA. He was a little off the radar because he was a late bloomer (measuring 6'3 before college). I see a lot of potential and I think we could use a player with a great mid-range game. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Alec-Burks-5819/ http://www.nbadraft.net/players/alec-burks And an older scouting report from NBAdraft.net <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/QS6wBzaw9D8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/TiS567M4rM4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Alec-Burks-Video-Breakdown-3692/ I think the above video breakdown is really worth a watch. He is definitely one of the safest picks in the lottery. Will have a very productive career.
Why would OHMSS comment here? Burks didn't play in Europe, did he? And yeah, I really like Burks. One of the better prospects of this year's draft.
He's superior to Taylor already. Much better handles, court vision, willingness to pass and size. Not quite the athlete Taylor is though.
