Let's not forget that Mlicki only gave up one unearned run in his five innings.

I want no part of Kazmir taking the mound this postseason.

The only confirmed starters for this series will be game one Collin ant game 3 Dallas.

    Rest depends on AJ.

if we know hinch at all, it's that he will never give up on someone he believes in. I think kazmir gets a start and capitalizes on it.

I don't care which way he goes. But Kaz can't just hand the Royals runs with wild pitches, walks, and errors. I don't care if he gets hit and gives up home runs, that happens, but he's just been handing over wins to the other team without there having to do anything to earn it. There have been worse pitchers starting playoff games, like Knepper and Deshaies and others. So if Kazmir starts I'm ok with it. But if he hands over one playoff game he's done.

Has there been any Kazmir sightings during any of the last two champagne celebrations?

I thought Fiers being included on the wild card roster instead of Kazmir was indicative of the Astros intending to use Kazmir in the ALDS rotation if we made it.

No way Kazmir starts any games in the playoffs unless we have an injury to one of the top 4.

It'll be McHugh, Lance, Keuchel, Fiers…in that order, imo.

The key will be who can save their bullpen the most during Thursday's game.

If we can steal one of the first two in KC I like our chances of winning this series. Can't wait to see playoff MMP back in action.

Gotta have Fiers in there. Although I wouldn't be upset to have him out of the bullpen to go 3-4 innings in must win games.

That means nothing. We can change our postseason roster now that we have advanced. Hinch chose Fiers to be the emergency long relief guy over Kazmir, which seems to indicate he plans on using Kazmir in the ALDS. Just my perception and I'm not advocating either way.
