Man I know you are a Laker fan if you are bringing up those championships. The people that won those championships have nothing to do with the organization any more. Except for Kobe. If LMA wants to win he's going to San Antonio.
Why are those journalists so adamant that he will want to play with Kobe. Kobe will end his farewell tour in 1 or at worst 2 years.
OK, then maybe Kobe can show them his. He himself has as many championship trophies as the entire San Antonio Spurs organization.
If Aldridge wants to win San Antonio is the perfect place for him. He's getting coached by one of the best coaches in NBA history.
If I'm not mistaken, Byron Scott is still the head coach. Also, Mitch Kupchak is still running things. The bottom line is that the NBA is garbage unless the Lakers are winning championships so, if there are players out there that think they are legit, they should step up and get the Lakers back to the top. There is a lot of pressure, as Dwight faced, and it's not something every player can handle, but if they think they can be great, then the Lakers is where they belong.
I don't think Aldridge is better than a healthy Love at this point if you talk about a player that doesn't always need the ball in his hands. Love can fit better in any system and will gobble up the rebound and shoot the 3 like it's a layup. I have a feeling Love will stay healthy this upcoming season and would be great for any contending team to acquire including the Rockets.
Yeah...that explains the ratings between the Cavs and Warriors series... People wonder why Laker fans get so much slack.
If Aldridge wants the best path to winning, he should sign with Boston. He can go East, sign with a team with **** loads of assets, and potentially be in the top heap with another move or two.
No one yet, but you land Lamarcus, and the pieces for Boston start to come together. Boston has 11 first round picks over the next four years. You don't think they could turn those 11 picks into 2 major blockbuster trades (Ty Lawson, Eric Bledsoe, Derozan, etc.)?
