    Ooops.

They'll have to beat the Rockets to it.

If we get Oakley then we can do this:

Houston trades: C Kelvin Cato (6.3 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 1.0 apg in 28.4 minutes)
SF Bostjan Nachbar (3.2 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 0.7 apg in 11.6 minutes)
Houston receives: C Greg Ostertag (7.5 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 2.0 apg in 30.5 minutes)
SF Aleksandar Pavlovic (5.4 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 0.7 apg in 14.3 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +3.4 ppg, +0.7 rpg, and +1.0 apg.

Utah trades: C Greg Ostertag (7.5 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 2.0 apg in 30.5 minutes)
SF Aleksandar Pavlovic (5.4 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 0.7 apg in 14.3 minutes)
Utah receives: C Kelvin Cato (6.3 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 1.0 apg in 39 games)
SF Bostjan Nachbar (3.2 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 0.7 apg in 27 games)
Change in team outlook: -3.4 ppg, -0.7 rpg, and -1.0 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

What will we do w/o our trade expert, MLC1MGC2ALC3?

But seriously, w/ Oakley on the team, it wouldn't be so bad. He can motivate Yao to be a bit tougher and give him a few elbows to the groin during practice. Something has to get Yao mad...

God, what an awful trade. Please tell me you were kidding and did not put time and effort into what amounts to a straight up swap of Cato for Greg Freaking Ostertag and an exchange of two interchangeable little used slavic swingmen.

If we have Oakley, we can start him with Mark Jackson and give out free Ensure to the first 10,000 fans in attendance...

Why would the Rockets want Ostertag over Cato?

Good Lord. That's just one more broken-down ex-Knick we can sit at the end of our bench.

Their production #s are very similiar + Greg is a Fa at the end of the season. Kato is still over paid, and he may like playing in the UT.

    Yeah....

Oakley did a LOT for Kwame Brown Too. He's a dirty thug and I want not part of him on our team.

Mark Jackson is an accomplished playmaker and a premier passer that even on the bench can add insight, but Oakley brings nothing.

Like barkley said about the other charles one time: Whenever they say a player brings toughness or attitude its usually because they can't play!

After they got into it in the preseason, Charles said, "Sometimes steroids makes you do crazy things."

The Rockets are locked into a bloated pay roll. Until Cato, MT, and the new guy CW come off the books, about the best they can do is make minor tweaks.

If we're going to bring in former Knicks, why not bring in some from the greatest era in Knicks history? We can shore up the point guard and small forward spots.

The only question remains...do we use Ewing as a player/coach to back up Yoa, or give Willis Reed a call?
