Watching the game just see Bryce not much of a evaluator of talent created this thread for those watching to post their thoughts as I'm interested in hearing how he's doing, feel free to delete thread if there's a better place for this discussion
He's not playing well. Not getting a ton of help from teammates, but he underthrew a wide open WR and missed another in the process of getting sacked.
Deuce Vaughn is a midget but he could be a fun change-of-pace 3rd down type back and return man eta: excellent pocket presence by Bryce on that last pass (the 60 yarder)
Jahmyr Gibbs is the only offensive skill player on Alabama with typical Alabama talent. Not shocked Young is struggling.
What I’ve seen so far is that the best receiver by far on Alabama is their running back. The receivers aren’t good.
He leads their team in receptions. He is a great player. They don't have a ton at WR, which is a large part of why Young's numbers aren't as good this year. Most know that. Many Texans fans that don't want Young look at the numbers and don't take that into account.
Those are excuses man, they might not have top tier talent like they had the last few years but Burton and Brooks were top level recruits and still thought of as 2-3 rounders when they declare.
I was thinking the same but I stepped out for a minute and he throws a td maybe I've been the problem for Texans qbs and possible qbs cuz I watch every Texans game lol
Got to see him several times this year against UT/TCU/OU/Baylor...technique needs work but he's a physical specimen
Give it up. There’s a whole thread dedicated to excuses for Will Levis along with the “elite” performances you linked to as well where they made excuse after excuse for his poor performances. We need to be able to discuss what’s on the field without everything being labeled as an excuse. It’s a team sport. The qb isn’t out there by themselves.
Giving up yards but not points has been their m.o. this season (50 something in total defense but top 15 in scoring defense, iirc)
