It should be the women's choice up to a certain point. I don't agree with abortion at all but God did give us free will and the decisions we make now will be judged accordingly.
Alabama has the fourth worst infant mortality rate in the country. Very curious since Alabama is so very pro life.
Unsettling for sure. Funny how this country still treats women like second class citizens. Even weirder still how many women are ok with it.
Just how Muslim women in fundamentalist Muslim families in poor Muslim countries believe it's their duty to put a trash bag over their head. Brainwashing.
the right to be ignorant is the holy sacrament of the right, fake news is their temple They will shoot themselves in the foot to protect it, it is non-negotiable.
I really don't care about this issue but I see a lot of pro choice people like to compare unborn babies to serial murders on death row to illustrate a double standard. I don't think that's a fair comparison.
I think you are the type of person where if Trump spoke out against these bills, you would be against them also.
...and 50th in education ...and 47th in health insurance coverage ...ranked 2nd worst state to live in by US News and World Report. Pro life...until you are actually alive.
Alabama is literally one of the worst states in the nation. Most of their constituents have no level of self-awareness to understand why they keep on voting against their self-interests.
I had some work there years ago. It was 1 week after Dennis Franchione had quit Bama to come coach A&M. I was on a construction site and had to use the Port-o-John. Inside was a message that was meant to say "F**K FRANCHIONE"...but they had actually misspelled the word "F**K".
Difference is that it is her body which we are all supposed to have control over. I think it's quite clear that a zygote is not a human being and a woman should be able to decide that the zygote doesn't have to be inside her. Only religious nut cases can try to make a case that it is an unborn child. On the other end a baby how has been in the womb for 37 weeks is an unborn baby and not really any different than a baby born. So the idea of being able to abort at 37 weeks unless in certain situations is certainly ethically wrong. If both sides could at least admit these two bookends, the debate could be centered around how do you find balance in giving women rights and control of their bodies, and protecting unborn babies. Both are important. Trying to say it's 6 weeks because there is a "heartbeat" is really just an arbitrary definition especially when most women don't even know they are pregnant yet. Why not find a place that solves both sides concerns?
Do you believe women have to sacrifice their career aspirations and goals more often than men when bringing forth a child? Yes, men need to support their kids but their supporting their kids while pursuing the career they set out to do. I feel like women are more depressed about having to quit their aspirations then men having to feed more mouths. I personally feel as if a female has to sacrifice more in terms of her body and aspirations than a male and thus should have the final say.
I live in Alabama. This state is full of old white mayonaise neck jesus crispies. I'm surprised Jones won down here. Small steps. Majority of people here are ignorant af. It wouldnt surprise me if they tried to make slavery legal again lol
