Aggies resorting to identity theft/fraud? (Wells Fargo)

Nowadays you can masquerade an email address to make it seem like it's the real account owner sending you the email message. You'd never know it unless you can ask the person sending the email either through FaceBook, personally, or through another medium.

 

i got the same email today and reported it.


and its not an aggie, they would be too stupid to realize how easy it would be to trace them. Almost everybody in CS uses wellsfargo so they are a prime target.

 

asking you for your SS and debit card number, wow.

 

I agree with the OP ...

This is an indictment against everybody who plans on going to TAMU, who is going to TAMU and who went to TAMU.

The most important part of the URL is the part before .com/.edu/.gov. The bold part is the domain name of the website. Don't even click on the link.

Apparently DynDNS is used by people/companies with constantly changing IP addresses. It's definitely not Wells Fargo.
