I think T Rob could guard 3s, like Paul george, Durant, LeBrons, Rudy Gays.

D-Mo imo, could never guard 3s though

Well, I hope you are right. He might be the only mobile player on the team that can match up with LBJ strength wise.

I'm a little confused. Are you saying he wants to open space for DMo?

What I was getting at is allocation of assets ..... If DMo & Co can hold down the fort at the PF spot at an above average level , where best to spend those assets is on the absolute best player you can get , I think CP3 and Lebron are where you get the biggest bang for the buck.

Imagine landing Lebron while hanging onto Parsons and the matchup problems that would create not to mention the defense.

Landing CP3 .... should make an already good offense better but I have to wonder how he would co-exist with Harden as they both need to ball to be effective. Its kinda like the Bucks with Ellis and Jennings , when one is going off the other isnt doing a whole lot.

Who would be the ideal point guard to pair with Harden ? I'd prefer a defensive minded guy who shoots a high percentage from deep. Maybe Lin turns into that player .... Just trying to figure who'd fit there and not need the ball to be effective.

Am I crazy thinking there are only two SF's I'd trade Parsons for in KD and Lebron ? .... when you consider their overall effect on a game. There are guy's who are better at one aspect or another but only two that are better across the board.

Who other than Howard (if healthy) would be a clear upgrade over Asik ? As much as I like Bynum's game I just couldnt throw that kinda money at a big man with his injury history. Gortat ? eh , I think thats a sideways move.
The two guy's I really like at the C spot are locked into long term deals in Noah and Brook Lopez. Neither is as good as a healthy Howard or Bynum .... but again , banking on a big with injury history to knee's or the back ...

Again this is with the caveat lector that one or more of the PF's currently on the roster develops into an above average player.

You dont really have to spend that money if what you have can contend for a championship. You could just parlay that cap space into further assets to spend later and or use it to extend the keepers on your roster.

The Rocket's brass obviously trusts DMo

Also Trob is so raw right now, all he needs is for the right team to work with him... hopefully the rockets are the right fit because he is super athletic
