After the 2016 NBA Preseason, Who do we cut on the roster?

As i said in the game thread, you can find 10 players like Brown in Europe, imo would be a mistake to cut a young player to keep him cause he had one good "garbage time" game.

 

brown gone maybe payton and hopefully brewers ass is gone

No way Onuaku gets cut. His contract is fully guaranteed for 3 years and he's just 19. He may not be ready now but you guys need to be more patient with him.

 

You're probably right he won't get cut. Even back in college I didn't think he was very good. Don't think he will amount to much if anything in the NBA.

 

Ennis and Sewer need to be traded. I'll take a first round pick for both.

 

I don't like Bobby Brown at all. He is good at getting his own shot but seems completely incapable of running the offense. It may be an aspect of him trying to show off his scoring abilities as much as possible, but he wasn't getting the team involved whenever the ball was in his hands.

 

I think one or none of Hairston, Brown, Payton or Wiltjer make it, maybe they like Wiltjer enough to cut losses on Ennis or Oanaku. I think only Wiltjer and Oanaku have the potential to be someone you would ever want to be in the game. This was a great opportunity for a young PG to come in and do some things either 3 and D or look semi competent with the ball in your hands but Ennis, Payton, and Brown showed nothing. I'd rather them grab a PG from another teams roster cuts then waste space with any of these 3.

 

Isn't Payton's contract guaranteed? I'm assuming he is on the roster. Lots of potential IMO.

What do we need when James is sitting? O-F-F-E-N-S-E
I hate to say it, but from what I've seen, Brown is our best scoring/playmaking PG on the team
(excluding The Beard and Gordo as neither are technically PG's)
I like Pablo, but he's not exactly instant offense.
And why are people saying that Brown plays selfish?
9 assists (likely 12 if not playing with a squad of brickers) doesn't sound too selfish.
Sorry, but we need scoring on our second unit.

Payton? All I've seen him do is basically wear a uniform.
Dump Hairston, Ennis and Payton for sure.
The harder cuts are Wiltjer and Onuaku (not likely because of contract)
One last note: Wasn't B Brown an 'invite' at the request of The Beard? I'm guessing that could have some sway here
