The question isnt "value relative to their CONTRACT". Its not OUR money.

Its TALENT compared to others at his POSITION.

For the Joe Johnson is just Rudy Gay at shooting guard comment (plausible), Joe Johnson actually knows what a pass is facilitating offense for them. Hawks have made the playoffs the past 4 years and have advanced 3 of those times. Yes its in the East, but its still pro basketball.

You can do worse at shooting guard, like Ben Gordon.

Overrated, overpaid, out of position. Should be a three.

How is K-Mart not on this list

    3.Manu 4.Harden 5.Monta 6.K-Mart 7. Nick Young 8.Courtney Lee

A lot of our fans fill Courtney Lee is better than Martin & that puts him in the top six which shows the inadequacy of prominent players at this position

There's a little difference between "When Healthy" and "CRIPPLED by injuries".

The "When Healthy" Tmac ended in 2008. Injuries have taken away his game. He's been too far out of the radar. As will Brandon Roy be in a year or two. Those are guys who have injuries robbing them of performance.

"When Healthy" Manu played 80 games last year and still puts up nice numbers in decent minutes. Kobe has stayed elite throughout his injuries. McGrady and Roy are already washed up at a younger age

Used to be Brandon Roy. Now it's Manu. I want to see if Harden could ever lead a team on his own, where he would get the primary attention instead of playing third fiddle, coming off the bench. He's a good player no doubt and he's still very young.

Eric Gordon would have taken that spot this year had he stayed healthy.

ill be shocked if he isnt there . His resume is really impresive, he is a winner and a leader.
He is more of a lock than tony parker, especially at this point in his career. Im not even sure if tony is hof material yet, probably not.

Do the Harden haters realize how good Harden has been this season?

    He is shooting 49%/38%/84%.

Can he keep this up? How good would he be without Durant/Westbrook? IDK, but with Ginobili missing over half the season, he's been the best.

I think he can keep it up. Harden has been a dynamic playmaker since his rookie season. What's killed him was inconsistency and starting out very slow. Now, the "no-show" games are few and far-between and he got off to a decent start this year.

The first part of the season he was stellar at home but played very poorly on the road, but it looks like that problem is solved.

What's holding him back from the next level is the trust of Scott Brooks.

It isn't the NBA Hall of Fame, it is the Basketball Hall of Fame.

If you include his international resume (including the best player on an Olympic Gold Medal winning team), he is absolutely a lock.
