What up fellas? I was wondering if any of yallwrre experienced in gambling. Other than sports bets on bodog and simple street craps (7/11) I have very little gaming experience. The only table game I fully understood was blackjack, but I ended up winning over $100. I would like to see if my beginner's lick could transfer to other games but when I was checking it out at the Casino roulette seemed more complex than red/black and the craps table made what I would play on the streets with my cronies seem elementary. Could y'all give me basic rules and etiquette for those two games? And also wtf is going on with those line slots? Lol whatever happened to simple spinning and matching?
Well, the best advice I can give you is to first, buy a book on each of the games in question if you really want to learn them. or... There are places online you can play for free to learn how the bets work/payouts/etc. or... most casinos offer classes you can attend on basic play. They are usually in the mornings and don't last very long. Ask at the cage or any casino personnel...they can fill you in on what the offer.
Find a roulette wheel. Bet $100 on red. If you win, pocket the $100 and continue to bet $100 on red. If you lose, bet $200 on red. If you win, pocket the $100 profit and start over. If you lose, bet $400 on red. If you win, pocket the $100 profit and start over. If you lose, bet $800 on red. Keep doubling until you win. Even though it is not a 50/50 proposition, eventually, you will hit red. Using this strategy, every time you win, you net your initial bet (instead of $100, you can start with $10).
There is usually a minimum bet and a bet limit which is why this method doesn't usually work in real casinos. They are not there to lose money you know.
If you have the jack, take or lay the odds on a craps bet the maximum the casino allows. That way the house only has an edge on your initial pass/don't pass bet. (you can find that explained on the internet if you aren't familiar with those terms. You'll have a punchers chance to win some $ that way. Failing that play "by the book" blackjack and you should get a lot of action for your gaming dollar.
I love craps. Play the don't on the come out roll and if the point is on 4,5,9 or 10 place max odds on your bet. If the point is on 6 or 8 let the bet ride as is. I usually start out betting with the house when I first walk up to a craps table. better odds to win but lower pay-outs. Of course if the shooter is hot go with the shooter and keep placing odds on your bets. It's always more fun when the shooter is hot and the table is winning. Don't make crazy bets like hard 8 or crap like that. Beware of field bets, looks like a ton of ways to win but there are more ways to loose. And don't fight the table, if you can't get in a rythem with it or there is not rythem walk away, find another table or better yet another casino. Never stay at the table too long, if you come off a hot streak don't try to force another one or your just end up giving back all the money you won. Most importantly be prepared to lose. Avoid the ATM machines at all cost and take only the amount you are willing to loose with out walking away mad. And did I say avoid all ATM machines? Better yet leave your ATM card at home. Have a good time.
This is the first thing I do at casinos to earn "gambling money." I also use this to build my money back up. I do this at the busiest low min tables. Good advice. But the best advice is to not go ha
I usually wait until either there are 3 reds in a row, or 3 blacks in a row. Then I will start betting and then double each time until I win.
Craps is the only game in the casino where you can place a bet where the house has no advantage. Learn the basics of this game. If you get a hot shooter (or a string of terrible shooters if you're betting with the house) you can bank quite a bit very quickly, but if you stick to pass line bets (and odds on those bets) you can play all night long, drink yourself senseless if that's what you want to do, and walk away pretty close to even every time. Of course if you load up on odds bets by betting the come you can lose a lot very, very quickly. There's nothing quite like getting max odds all across the table and seeing the idiot shooter throw a seven the very next roll. Like crash says stay the hell away from those idiotic bets in the middle of the table. They favor the house tremendously.
Ah man! You sound like my brother! He takes his ATM card with him as well. BTW, great return if you win.
Can't tell if you guys are serious or trolling by following this guys method. There are only a few ways to beat the casino, Ive been there more than I am supposed to be. 1) card counting for black jack 2) Some video poker machines are beatable 3) If you know how to throw the dice in craps 4) don't gamble at the casino
