Dragic is an upgrade to Fish Bud is an upgrade to Artest Scola is a downgreade from Gasol Marcus Morris, during the draft was said to be #5 on the Lakers board. Its a solid upgrade for both teams in my opinion.
Gasol has a stable post game and can rebound and protect the rim. Alongside, Dally, I think he would be an upgrade over Scola.

Giving up Morris makes no sense, it feels like a Battier for Gay move.....where we will regret it later. Budinger, Goran, Thabeet, the pick..sure......but why include Morris? I don't trust Morey or McHale after they let Lin go as to their ability to judge talent.....this seems like too much. DD
I'm all for trading for Howard -- and I'd be willing to give up a lot to get him -- however I would be very reluctant to give up Lowry while also taking back a bad contract like Hedo, given that there's no guarantee Howard would stay. It's a *huge* risk to take. It's easy to sit here and say "Yeah, pull the trigger already", when most GM's would lose their job over a trade like this, if Howard were to leave afterwards.
True on the soft as Charmin tissue part, easily false on the fit with McHale and the first option part seeing as we have no first option currently...
