I'm going to be honest, I don't see any deal posted in this thread that I would be okay with. Especially not the one with Kapono, Blake, and Murphy.
I dont like. You're giving up most of your "good", young assets for Gasol. Yes, I/we complain about Morey not doing anything with his assets but...I don't know. I guess if that's the best deal you can get, sure, go for it.
I'm not a fan of them either, but Kapono and Murphy are expiring. Steve Blake has a couple more year left I think.
I predict we will soon get the denials from implicated teams and nothing will happen... for most of a week, and then they'll execute on the trade they agreed to in principle today.
Wishful thinking, but.... You COULD turn around and send Gasol (1:1) for Howard, coupled with Lowry for Turk or Nelson. Just wishing.
I agree. Not a terrible trade, but you're basically cashing in for Pau Gasol. You upgrade your starters a bit, but you take a huge hit on the bench. Are you guys honestly ready for Flynn-sanity? I would go Flynnsane.

Lowry AND Gasol? And we have the privilege to take on Hedo as well? Talk about giving up the world for Dwight Howard.
You give up Scola, Dragic, Picks and get back Gasol and fillers while keeping Lowry & Martin?? If you're rejecting this...you're an idiot. Morey would then use Martin and others for another trade, that's for damn sure. Moe
