Adidas will not renew apparel deal with NBA

    Buying an NBA Jersey in a Store Is About to Get More Expensive

    Nike, meanwhile, is expected to present its initial NBA jersey designs to retailers beginning this week . The company said it doesn’t plan to produce sleeved jerseys, a style debuted by Adidas in 2013 that received mixed reviews from players and fans.​

    I don't have a background in marketing, but someone please explain to me why Nike if it has a 96% market share via the Jordan brand would want to pay anything just to try to get that last 4%. Sounds like a money pit to me

    I know I'm in the minority on this, but the sleeved jerseys are a hit with me. I really like the gray uniforms for the Rockets (as well as the black obviously.)

    So it looks like my Olajuwon smiling rocket jersey will remain my one and only Rox jersey...unless the rockets shop finds those Beasley jerseys I begged for last season...

    Jeez cant wait for Nike to take over, honestly. Regardless of size/cut, Adidas stuff fits like crap. I haven't bough any Rockets gear since Adidas took over.

    Thank god the sleeved jersey is dead! It was a ridiculous look. Cavs wore their black version almost every game in the Finals. Yuck!

    Back to classic clean look and finish: win!
