Oct 1 is when he is officially part of Adidas, but I don't get what the uproar is about him wearing Jordans and such. Can someone explain why everyone's anuses tightened up when he was rocking Js?
Adidas is paying him to endorse them both on and off the court as part of the contract. I don't think it's unreasonable for them to ask him to not wear their competitor's products.
Harden is a Nike guy. Nike wouldn't pay him so he had to go get paid by Adidas. But in his heart of hearts, Nike all the way.
By signing with Adidas, he basically said goodbye to all other sports brands. Should've stuck with Nike so at least he could wear those and Air Jordans.
I mean...technically. Just seems logical to wear the stuff the company giving you $200 mil sells, though. It's really no big deal, though.
But his Nike obligation hasn't ended yet. He's still under contract with Nike right now. i.e. I don't think he can wear adidas yet.

It's unbelievably amazing to me how so many people can read that he is still under contract with Nike until October 1st, and then question or complain about him not wearing Adidas. This is why the world and politics is still so messed up. lol
