Finch the Rio Grande Valley Vipers coach. Rockets dont appear to want him(not as HC at least and not right now anyways).

Really? You're assuming you know the composition of our team next season of course? Didn't DM say there will be more changes?

Are we certain our vets Scola and Martin will remain with the team?

All I know is that with Adelman, we would have more of the same--staying with the vets (overplaying the vets may have led to injuries even) emphasizing offense and outshooting the opponents, playing the young guys only when injuries derail the main guys, slow in-game adjustments, etc.

I for one am looking forward to a change.

yeah, not as HC immediately, but assistant.

He still has a commitment to the British national team for the 2012 Olympics. Plus, he has no NBA HC experience, that's why

    I'm just speculating.

HOU could not have enticed Finch with all his credentials (and 10 years in Europe) to come over just to coach a D-League team. DM must have said eventually Finch could have a shot at coaching at the NBA level.

I think the Rockets should consider these guys for interviews too:
    Billy Cunningham
    Craig Robinson
    Tim Floyd
    Steve Clifford
    Reggie Theus
    Chris Jent
    Tubby Smith
    Herb Williams
    Herb Syndek
    Jeff Bzdelik
    Marc Iavaroni
    Bob Hill

Chris Finch's fake American accent is annoying. If you are a Brit, talk like one damn it, don't pretend you are American just to get basketball jobs. Disgusting.

If Finch is an assistant on the new staff, you might just have your answer.

with some of the interviews that we're having, I might not be surprised to hear that they're fishing for a replacement for Finch in the NBDL so that he can move up.

Who exactly did Adelman play vets over? Thabeet? TWill? JT?
Well, unfortunatley those players haven't done anything. That argument is dead. Especially when our team is already very young. The only true vet was Battier and he's currently winning games for Memphis in playoffs:rolleyes:

You would think you don't trade away a Shane Battier so that his replacement could just sit on the bench. Implication: HOU wants to see if TWill and Thabeet can play.

Last time I checked, the last game Shane played for us we were how many games below .500. After the trade, we started playing better. Shane may be winning in MEM but not winning for us. Why stick with Shane for HOU? Let him taste the playoffs in MEM.

Well, if your arguing Adelman should've played Bud over Shane your obviously blind. Bud was in a HORRIBLE slump & and absolutely atrocious on defense. Bud wouldn't be starting on any other team but ours. In other words, Adelman was right in playing his vet Battier

The only reason we played great after the break was because our players finally relaxed. They didn't have to worry about they're GM labeling them "assets" and bragging on how tradeable the whole team was

Right, Chris FINCH is american just like Barack HUSSEIN Obama is American! Do some research! Nobody has FINCH's birth certificate and he spend his most important basketball years growing up in the European world. He also has the classic thin-lipped Englishman look. This man is not to be trusted.

Rudy T was just a scout and he won titles. Who was Popovich prior to firing hill? If they think Finch has a head coaching future, then they should just hire him and move forward.

Finch kinda sounds like Morey when you hear him talk. He seems to buy into Moreys system as well.

Chris Finch is a hell of a good coach. IMHO he is a better coach than Adelman is. I have no problem with Morey's decision if he picks Finch.
