Asik would have fit in very well in the Adelman offense as well. He is a very good passer for a big man and Adelman's system utilizes big man's passing ability from the high post.

Its a shame we let Adelman go.

    A damn shame.

The coolest thing is that every year Rick and his son go on vacation during the week when the team that wins the NBA Finals has a parade.. He figures for 45 years he has never won one, so why start now. Often times he joins Don Nelson, Doug Moe and D'Antoni and a good time is had by all.

Golden State's record before Adelman: 26-53
Golden State's first season under Adelman: 36-46
    +10 wins

    Sacramento's record before Adelman: 27-55
Sacramento's first season (shortened) under Adelman: 27-23
Sacramento's first full season under Adelman: 44-38
    +17 wins after 2 seasons

    Houston's record before Adelman: 52-30

Adelman never took on a stacked team. Houston was the best team he ever inherited. The teams always improved.

Instead of McHale, whose offense is more PG-friendly, Lin fans would be screaming about replacing Adelman with Pringles.
