Wow, really sad to see the body language of AB in that video. He's saying the right things, but if you turn the sound off, you just hear "I am really, really depressed right now." It's a far cry from the red bow tie days.

Just trade Brooks so we can be done with it.

    What teams got better?

    Portland didnt
    Phoenix didnt
    Memphis didnt
    Utah didnt

The bench isnt scoring because the bench is suited to run and AB is not a running PG, he is a half court PG

I fear this is coming and it's really unfortunate; I hope the Rockets trade a lot of other players before they deal Brooks.

then NBA is a business, the rockets aren't going anywhere so don't let it surprise you if at least has something to do with the contract situation.

They didn't but they were better than us anyways so how can we be better if we didn't improve?

I hope they do not trade Brooks. His injury was very unfortunate. I still believe he still got it in him like last year. Its kind of hard to get on a roll when first you get sidelined with an injury, just to come back and take the backseat playing limited limits. Way to shoot down ones ego. Who said Adelman is loyal?

I think if Adelman just stick Brooks back into the starting lineup and give him back his minutes, he will get better. What does the team have to lose? AB will improve and get familiar with how the starting unit plays.

Brooks havent regressed, his role did.

We probably wont have to wait for the deadline. The injury exception the Rockets got for Yao (worth $5.875 million in a trade) expires on Jan31st. I cant see them simply allowing it to expire.

Expect something to happen before this exception expires - What ? I have no idea but I hope it brings a big who can protect the rim and rebound while not being a total liability on the offensive end. Make that a True Center .... not another C/F combo that adds to the logjam.

First post after several years of lurking

Brooks is in a funk right now. He will get his job back whenever he starts playing better.

Their defense is worse despite Lowry starting? How can that be?

Get real. He was struggling since the beginning of the season. He and Martin couldn't play together.

Some times players need a change. In this case I think being on another team could help AB.

It's not like Brooks isn't getting any minutes. He's still playing more than 24 minutes per game. I bet Williams would like to get 24 minutes per game.

    TEAM Defense Freak!

The TEAM doesn't rotate and switch consistently. Scola is almost god awful at staying in front of anyone and the 2nd team Defense is almost nonexistent.

Lowry BTW, hustles on D and actually does things that AB couldn't do, like rebound and grab steals.

I'm a big fan of these post-practice interviews Clutch has been posting recently (T-Will and Brooks/Adelman), as well as the brief clip of Amar'e commenting on the Rockets.

They really add to the content, are very interesting/insightful, and bring even more legitimacy to the site.

Yes, and very well thought out questions too. I like how you ask something that is easy for them to answer and they wont get in trouble for, but at the same time answers questions that the fans really have.

Most interviews allow the players and coaches to give vague sugar coated answers/or ask questions that they really cant answer. Keep it up Clutch.

If our defense sucks anyway. Does making it suck a LITTLE less, is that worth getting rid of our 2nd biggest offensive threat?
