Houston is the only team that can improve his legacy. Everything he’s looking for is here, too.

FO, coach, and team all aligned. Laser-focused on GS with an actual blueprint to beat them. Not like other teams that believe accumulating star power is the way to beat them. The Rockets know how to beat GS. From strategy to personnel to execution, everyone is aligned.

The opportunity to play off the ball is in Houston, too. One of the major strengths of the Rockets this past season was the ability to have a hall-of-fame playmaker running the show at all times. With the addition of Gerald Green, the Rockets also had the luxury of having a capable secondary playmaker on the court most of the game. Stop Harden or Paul, and the Rockets just swing it to Gordon for him to take on the lesser defender. This formula led to a 65-win season. Now imagine having three hall-of-fame playmakers on the same team. Additionally, Lebron would bring a different dynamic as a playmaker. His strength-based game will be a nice contrast to the perimeter-based styles of Harden and Paul. A hall-of-fame answer to every strength of any opponents’ defense.

Above all, the Rockets are the only proven team against GS. They’ve handed the Warriors the most L’s since the slimy KD acquisition. Had it not been for untimely injuries to Luc and CP3 compounded with ill-fated officiating, Houston is making plans for another parade right now.

Adding LeBron James to the Houston Rockets begs not the question “can they beat GS,” instead it’ll make everyone ponder “how many titles in a row can they add to LeBron’s legacy?” At 33 years old, LeBron doesn’t have much time to catch up to Michael Jordan’s ring count. The Rockets offer a proven path to conquering Golden State and immediately winning rings for the rest of LeBron James’ career.

The only thing that can prevent this prophecy is LeBron’s family. That’s why I believe it’s either Houston or Cleveland. Luckily, Chris Paul has been here a while to give testimony to the family side of Houston.

What Money pulled off is so unthinkable that people on these boards want to trade Harden...and get someone even better.

People hate us now and weren't giving us any respect when we beat the Warriors. They only talked about the Warriors. They said we were lucky and made us every excuse not to acknowledge us. They talked about game 1 officiating and forgot we existed. Why would that change? Everyone that shares your POV needs to realize we are never going to be loved. We don't get respect from the Dream's Rockets. Narratives don't mean ****. Do you want to be happy or not? You don't get to put a bow or icing on it with sprinkles. It comes in one size and doesn't have asterisks. You do or you don't. This city deserves championships, this team, these coaches, us. I am TIRED of living in the what might have been realm with this team. I certainly don't live my life that way. "The world only makes sense if you force it to." Good advice from a comic. The Rockets won a championship this year and proved it to me. This is now justice that the NBA will get many helpings of over the next 5 years at least for our trophy sitting in someone else's cabinet. They can hate it all they want but they have to eat it down just the same. I'd rather follow that team.
