Get rich fast...just go the casino, at least you are only affecting you and your family's own finances. Might even have a better chance to actually make money. I've fortunately not been approached by this all but one time I can recall recently. My sister-in-law who is has been out of work and not even trying to work for as long as I can remember (whole 'nuther rant session there), asks me one day, how much do you pay for electricity? I thought nothing of it, answered, then she hit me with the pitch. I looked at her with a "don't even try that **** with me" look. We moved on to another subject after that. I don't see how people's BS meter just doesn't go crazy on these things.
I joined ACN at the same time this other guy joined about 2 yrs ago. I saw the BS and left. He's now a millionaire I guess. He lives in the same building as Chandler Parsons and JLin. I think he just got an Aston Martin too **** works for some people.
There is a big difference between endorsing a company and actually taking part in a company. I did some research some Donald Trump and ACN and it seems like all he does is get paid to endorse the company, he is not even a member or participant in ACN...LOL
Issue is really they don't actually save you any money on any of the services that they provide to you versus the services you would get from the provider yourself. And often at times it is actually more expensive to go through these ACN members. They seem to sell it off as a favor system basically get people to sign up under you as them doing you a favor, not as you wanting to save them money. If you actually ask any of them about the actual services that they provide such as energy or satellite they know NOTHING about it. All they do is refer you to go to their website and check it our yourself. They know ZERO about their rates and quality of service. WTF.
the closest to any of this was attending a "Personal Dynamics" presentation that my friend and I got pestered into attending by another buddy. we knew it was a scam going into it but we agreed to do it just to get this guy to stop hounding us. it was along the lines of personal success and manifesting your dreams and potential and blah blah blah. sure enough they had the credit card machines at the presentation and everyone had some sort of "level" that they were on. it turns out we were attending our friends so called "graduation". he had definitely alienated himself from his friends and family and was acting like a general wacko. his so called mentors were also fronting him the money for the cost of taking the next so called level course and all the while they were trying to coach him into closing the two of us. it was hilarious. they broke us out in sessions and me and my buddy just stuck together as they gave us discussion topics and wanted us to separate. some high level member lady comes over and tries sweet talking us. just a bunch of utter failures. an ex gf of mine did the Landmark Forum and it sounded familiar
Were sounds from the machines audible? MLM trick #44 -- have machines that make sounds at events or play fake sounds ("cha-chings", receipts printing or calculators crunching). Psychologically it makes the attendees feel more inclined to join-in. What else y'all sucky boys want? I have all the answers. Only a matter of time before I get bored enough to start my own religion-based MLM and take over the world.
WTF brah brah? the same ish you describing just happened to my chicks sister. she just left this morning to cali for some convention. She kept saying that Mr.ALexander from the texans was in it.
I went to one of these once but it was a company called "Vector" selling that cutco kitchen stuff like 5-6 years ago. They didn't ask for any money right away and I never got hounded by anyone, I only went cuz I got some thing from them in the mail. I think it was a similar scheme though because you had to pay for all the cutlery you were selling or w/e and basically had to sell door to door or something. One thing I remember is at the end of the presentation they called everyone into a separate room one by one for an individual interview to see if you get "hired," of course everyone gets hired. I knew it was bs once I realized there was no salary and everything was comission and you actually had to put money up to begin with, also I had friends who already knew it was a scam. Anyone else remember that company Vector? Is it still around?
LOL man I remember them Cutco knives. Knew so many people that got sucked in to that. "Hey man, you got time? Lemme tell you bout these knives..!" "Hey man, you got time? Check out these scissors I got that can cut through a penny..!" I knew a really hot chick that I was trying to get with once and turned out she got brainwashed into these things and also sells Cutco. Deal breaker. (I'd still hit it tho)
All they talk about and brag about is Mister Alexander... LOL TOO BAD HIS ASS GOT CUT FROM THE TEAM. They rather bring in free agents than to bring him back. Tells you a lot about him. Like i said earlier. I bet Mister Alexander probably tried to get Texans into the Pyramid Scheme and got his ass cut.
Yeap pretty much the people I knew who were in ACN all somehow are going to this "TRIP to California"... LOL all they do at these trips is further brain wash people and flaunt the success of others in their faces so they "believe it will happen to them".
Wow you know about this trip too one of my friends went to it too. 20k attendance x 500 dollars a pop = 10 million
One of my friends got sucked into this sort of thing,it was called MonaVie. They had 'levels' and stuff to. The more people under you the more bonuses and perks you get. You really have to buy into the bull**** if you wanna be successful at it. It almost becomes a religion to them and they get brainwashed by it. Scary ****.
