Damn. Thats not bad at all.

Already saw Muse at the TC and gonna see Flaming Lips at Summerfest here in a couple weeks.

Would want to see - The Strokes, Band of Horses, Beach House, The Sword etc.

David Bazan is interesting, he played a gig in Austin back last fall and was talking mad **** about ACL.

Seems like there is more alt-country/roots rock acts than in previous years...

Pitchfork approves of this post. +1 Rep.

Seriously, though...I usually make a ton of fun of this ridiculous festival. I will continue to do so because I think the headliners are absurd/horrible. That said, LCD Soundsystem, The Flaming Lips, Sonic Youth, The Sword, the xx and Nortec Collective are nice grabs.
    Y'all have fun.

That's pretty solid for an ACL lineup.

The Strokes, LCD, Broken Bells, Monsters of Folk, Local Natives, The XX, Yeasayer, and Edward Sharpe would all be definite sees for me at first glance. I'll likely just wait until the after shows are announced in a few months. Went to a couple of those last year instead of the fest, and had a great time.

By the looks of it, Friday is going to epic...

Strokes, Spoon, Vampire Weekend, Black Keys, Broken Bells, Robert Randolph, Mofro, Amos Lee, Band of Heathens, 2 Tons of Steel, etc.

Then I could skip Saturday pretty much all together. All that interests me on Saturday is Lucero and Monsters of Folk

Sunday's only salvation is Trombone Shorty and Flaming Lips.

Loving the fact that my favorite Austin band, The Sword, is at ACL. All the indie hipsters should run and hide now!!!

Also stoked about Deadmau5. That show will be off the hook!

Looks like Pitchfork is going to cream its pants for Friday and then roll its eyes for Saturday.

Pitchfork recommends I buy a Friday day pass - though I would love to see Muse again I must follow the fork.

    Flaming Lips

    LCD Soundsystem

    Spoon

    Vampire Weekend

    Norah Jones

    Band of Horses

    Monsters of Folk

    Sonic Youth

    Gogol Bordello

    Robert Earl Keen

    The Black Keys

    Yeasayer

    Beach House

    The Sword

    Matt and Kim

    Girls

    Mountain Goats

    Asleep at the Wheel

    Band of Heathens

    Two Tons of Steel

These are the bands I would have some interest in seeing. The headliners are pretty bland.

Muse might be kind of interesting just because their music is so melodramatic I would wonder what their show would be like
