Bad report. Full of pure speculation.

stop saying that she's a bait to sign YAO ..think about it..after the NBA season is over YAo gonna go ..well he HAVE TO go back to CHINA ..whereas the wnba season starts...and when the wnba season end she gonna HAVE TO GO back to China..so it doesn't matter who sign her...YAO and HER will not be in the U.S. at the same time....

I think it is presumptuous and likely false to think a team has a significant edge in signing Yao if they hold his present girlfriend's contract.

I don't think it matters where Ye goes. On the other hand, I think Ye has her own
attraction and market, maybe that's the main reason LA and Detroit are interested
    in her.

Can you tell me what is the different between Chinese Mandarin and Chinese Cantonese or any Chinese dialect in terms of writing.

But that has nothing to do with the dialect. ;)

This is just pure speculation by Chinese journalist. There is no reference as to where the info in which Detroit and LA is interested in Ye came from. I would say there is zero value in this article.

that's not entirely true. though there's not a lot of merit behind this particular article. the idea itself doesn't seem so far fetched.

yao ming's girlfriend isn't like any nba player's current groupie girlfriend. if they're pretty serious, Chinese people have an important sense of family values and if they ever do get engaged, then it's definitely not out of the realm of possibility that they would want to play in the same city.

Why?? They won't be playing at the same time and the odds seam to say that they will both be back in China during their offseaons anyway.

i think that at some point yao will only have to go back certain years like olympic years. plus the WNBA season is short, i'm sure that playing in the same city would increase their time together as opposed to having no effect.

they basically use the same written words. just for some Cantonese,
it's difficult for them to find corresponding written words. (i.e. only spoken-words
    available).
In China many dialects are available, but most of them are same language.

    How??

Who says that Ye Li won't live here during her WNBA/CNT offseason???

Why does Yao have to go live where she is??

Seems easier for Ye to work around Yao's committments than it is for him to work and live around hers.
