...the Rockets can't do anything right. All you guys do is b**** and moan about how bad you think your home team is going to be. It's the same thing every season and every season they prove to be better than expected. Why do some of you even post here? Don't you have anything positive to say about your team? Many of you don't have a problem complimenting other teams. There are plenty of doom and gloom predictions here to last us a life time.
Let's try this. Each one of you dig deep and try to find something positive to say about the team. I'll start.
I like how Asik has looked so far. See? That wasn't hard. Believe it or not, there are a lot of things to look forward to. For once let's start the season off with a positive outlook.

Machado looked good. Defense, notwithstanding. TJ looks like a man out there. Parsons, PPat, and Martin look hungry out there. Mchale seems to be doing a great job and team looks much better than most people have projected on both ends of the court. Go Rockets! We playoff-bound!

Terrence jones could be a star in this league in a few years.

i liked how the team got rid of the crap players you were in love with like Thabeet, Flynn, Terrence Williams, etc

And I have faith they will continue to dump crap players

Just seeing the title and the poster, I thought this was gonna be a another terrible thread.

I am pleasantly surprised that that this is a nice thread and I think the Rockets 2012-2013 will pleasantly surprise a lot of fans. Lot of young, exciting, high-potential players on the roster this year. Dunno why some people keep complaining.

You showed up sooner than expected:p. Funny how you didn't mention Thabeets near double double without fouling out tonight. I understand though.

I like that there are no conflicts between the coach and any player, and no signs of messed up locker room politics. Players like Asik are setting the tone with a rigorous work ethic. Even Martin, not known for playing defense, has been playing both ends of the court in the preseason. Just seems like a very positive team culture.

I hate to break the news to you.
It was a preseason game with no Durant or Westbrook.

    It was scrub evaluation time.

Yeah and every time they showed him on NBA TV, he was too slow on the rotation and Boozer got easy dunks .

This guy is slower than clams in the ocean.

let me give a nba lesson.

every team in the nba has backup players
    every team has scrubs

thabeet is not a unique player
he's like a scrub like many scrubs before him

I guess Perkins is a scrub too, right? Thabeet outplayed him tonight.
The only lesson you are giving me is a lesson in reaching.

will your parents let you bet?

how about (not barring injury) that Thabeet will not pass up Perkins on the dept chart for OKC?

And how about (not barring injury) Lin won't lose his PG starting job to anybody on the depth chart this year?

    $100 tip jap bet

I remember reading over and over how many of you wanted the team to rebuild. When they finally did, some were still able to find something else to complain about.
