Hes just a point guard that can shoot and find his own shot because of his quickness but a point nonetheless. We can play small because lowry can guard some twos and rebound some. Its just one of those matchups thats in our favor against some teams. Wont be able to do it wed in okc though.

In name only. He's really more of a SFPLPG (shoot first, pass later). I'm saying his skills line up more with a SG than a PG.

He is as much of PG as Jason Terry is, ask Dallas fans how they feel about Terry running the point.

last years average stats against portland, dallas, and phoenix

    Portland: 27pts 7ast
    Dallas: 22pts 4ast
    Phoenix: 24pts 8ast

ironically, the only time i remember brooks being frustrated by another point guard was when rondo was guarding him. it was the game at houston where they both shut each other out basically. brooks was complaining about how rondo was hand checking him. brooks answered by scoring 30 and 9 with the rematch in boston.

If you want to shift him to SG then it means he comes from the bench because he will have matching problems every single with other team's SG. Kevin Martin is not in defense, but at least he is 6'7.. got 7-8 inches over AB. Off the bench Ish and AB combo... Lowry and Martin at stating lineup. Where will courtney lee go then?

I like AB as PG and Martin as SG in starting lineup. Lowry carry the bench like he used to; Soul and heart of the bench..

He never guards the opposing Shooting guard, today Lowry was guarding Ray Allen.

Other small SGs like Jason Terry guards PGs while Kidd guards SGs.

In order to play AB you need to have a tall PG that can guard SGs, Lowry is an exception because he is extemely strong so he can guard SGs.

Welcome back AB, that was the FIRST game since he sprained his ankle where he looked like he did last year.

That was the first game he did the stop and pop and the stop and step back on a dime....since he was injured.

    He is BACK BABY !!

AB is a scoring guard, plain and simple. You can talk about point guard or shooting guard. Doesn't matter. He is most effective playing alongside a playmaker and scoring the ball.

He played the majority of the game at SG, co-incidence?

Remember that his best play last year was when he and Lowry were on the court at once.
