That seems pretty dirty. There is no conceivable reason for him to draw a charge with 1.6 seconds left to go. Because: a) Time would expire by the time they even make contact b) Refs are lenient at the end of quarters c) It's a frickin HALF-COURT shot success rate is low why even try to contest it and risk fouling d) Ginobli has a history of flopping and playing dirty, given that I don't give him any benefit of the doubt. F&@! Ginobli.
Little over 2 I think but Brooks looked as bad or worse...I meant wtf is Manu even doing there? And WTF is with all the sprained ankles on this team........ DD
I would certainly call it dirty. He stepped in late with AB in the air. There was no reason to do it. That's what happens when you play for years with Bruce Bowen. You learn how to break ankles the dirty way.
It looked pretty awful. Looks like either Kyle Lowry will get what he wants and start for a while, or if he's still out for a few more games, Ishmael Smith will get the opportunity of a lifetime.
if he has to miss even a few games, this season might be over. before people cry "over-reaction" think about our record with a loss tonight, plus probable losses for most games until he returns. lets hope its one of those "they re-taped it in the locker room and he will return for the second half" type of stories.
Lmao. Seriously? First of all, you shouldnt make statements like that because it came off as official word. Second of all, how you land and react doesn't always indicate how severe an ankle sprain is. There's different variable involved like the angkle of the sprain and a player's range of motion at that joint. Sometimes it feel a lot worse than it is. It could turn out to be a severe sprain, but you can't be sure from just seeing the sprain. Let's stop speculating, we'll have a better idea of the severity of it after halftime....keep in mind that they didnt let him gather himself, since it was halftime and just carried him off...doesnt mean it was bad enough to be carried off...
anyone that knows anything about ankles knows a broken ankle is better than a severe sprain. it heals stronger and it doesnt hinder you the rest of the season. Kyle sprained his and was out for several different periods last season. Itd be better if he broke it than to have a severe sprain. i just hope its less severe, this teams not nearly as fun to watch without this guy..
Nope. His foot turned 90 degrees sideways. I've gotten one of those before. Took me a week to even be able to walk, and three to be able to run. And given the amount of pain he was in, this looked bad. Also I was able to walk on it after the injury, the pain and inability to walk on it came after it swelled up from me not moving it. SEASON IS OVER.
