    Old Nene is better than young Rodney Hilario.

    Young version was dopey and bone headed. I would've never guessed that old version was going to turn into a championship player, which is what he is now. Now he is a player you can rely on to make the right play at any given time, while making very little mistakes.

    Nene has been invaluable for the the Rockets this season.... perfect veteran back up big to come in and put in a consistent professional effort every game he plays.

    (2 nite Biggie for ole man river....Nene vs labron...somewhere it will happen 2 nite..)......I am ashamed....I wrote my opening sentence yesterday afternoon...then ran away...but IT DID HAPPEN !...NENE...drop step...spin...into the basket you go !

    NENE you are the MVP of the game...you are the reason we will compete and will win in the "real games"...you have steel in your veins..you have winner tattooed on your chest....you are the very person who inspires and ignites the others on this team...you are the absolute best pickup vs investment by a mile...this off season...and you, my man, know what is at stake more then any other. And intend to get it or die trying. We are so fortunate to have the human tank on the floor when the games get real and the possessions become crucial.

    NENE NENE NENE ! Bow down all doubters !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Nene's defense against LeBron and Irving was very good. He made them work for their points. The best of Nene is yet to come, because he is a BOSS!

    Nene has been a huge factor off of the bench. He and Bev are definitely our enforcers out there on the court.
    Great off-season acquisition for Darren Murray.

    He may not be a better overall player than Dwight but he has the one skill that makes him way more valuable in our system. He can catch the ball and finish layups. His touch around the rim and out to 15 feet is 100x's better than Dwight's.

    Serious comment now:

    As a Brazilian, I bet nobody criticized him more than I did while he was in DEN:
    He was cocky, he quit on the national team, and he couldn´t make a shot two feet away from the basket.
    Coincidence or not, after his disease, the guy turned into another person. He added some moves in WAS, and more important, he now has a HEART (in any aspect of the word you can think of).

    Now, I´m rooting for him to earn a ring.
    And I´m rooting for it to happen this year with our Rockets. :cool:
