FYI- Tim Breaux, a player of Houston's 94-96 team, is reported in China to have joined a CBA Level-B team, Xinjiang Guanghui(ShangHai Sharks is a level-A team). http://sports.163.com/tm/020607/020607_195145.html The assistant coach Cao Xin comments that Tim and another former NBA player will provide new help for their team's effort to fight for a level-A seat. I found Breaux's profile in Clutchcity.net http://www.clutchcity.net/playerinfo.cfm?PlayerID=23 Seems that he did not do well at Houston and was at the end of the bench. Does someone here still remember him? Just curious.
Tim didn't get much playing time. I remember him on the IL. Don't know if that was with a real injury or not, but I remember him in street clothes.
I remember him hitting a half court shot against the Spurs,I think, somewhere around 5 years ago. Thats all I remember about him though.(Besides riding the bench...)
No user comments on this story in that chinese website because 'your comment?' feature is not provided.... Actually Tim is not the first former NBA player to play in China, and I think we will see more to go.....did someome mention Collier and/to Cato?
I think they were talking about two former NBA players who are going to join a CBA team next season. BTW I used a translator on the web. It works pretty well

That article in Chinese uses " newly signed"... BTW, are you talking about a machine translator or a human one? Can you tell me the website if it is available online?

The best site is http://babelfish.altavista.com But it only does simplified Chinese, not traditional characters. (That's just fine for us mainlanders.)
These two former NBA players are joining a CBA B-league team. I heard some people said the CBA A-League is not better than NCAA or even the High School competition. Hmmmmmm...
