Knowing that this was a good cause and knowing that I couldn't probably make the lunch since I live in Minnesota, I still won the lunch with Van Gundy. I need to think of a way to offer it to a fellow Clutchfan and guest to go in my place.
Ask him how often he reads cf.net, ask him if he thinks cf.net is good for the rockets organization or if he thinks it competes and takes too much away from rockets.com
yeah, something like this would be a good question. ask him if he's done any reading on CF and what he thinks about the site overall. I don't know if I'd ask if it takes away from Rockets.com, but eh when in rome.
Oh, ask him does he think there's a good possibility we won't have basketball until next year? How does that affect their improvement of the team?
He's spoken poorly about "box score". What are alternative statistics (offensive and defensive) that he would recommend fans use to understand a player's contributions?
To answer some of the questions here-- 1. He does check up on clutchfans. Seemed to like the website. Not much comparison to it out there. 2. Lockout will probably be shortened or not at all...nothing new there. 3. Can't talk about players on the record...just says things like "centers are good things to have." Interesting talk. It was fun.
