Craig takes a lot of grief around here. I was interested in how deep the frustration ran. I find the results refreshing.
the grief is really only from like one(really obnoxious) maybe two people. most reasonable fans understand why craig is still playing and how important the milestone is to not only him, but the franchise. moving him from the leadoff spot on the other hand, may not be such a bad move.
why would he answer you? we know where you stand on this. you're quite adamant. you're not going to change your mind. we get it.
huh? i think he sucks but that has nothing to do with this poll or the question i asked him. or even biggio. he said that having a player reach 3,000 hits is extremely important to a franchise, and i'm asking him why.
b/c it's the only we have left to hang on to this season. might as well try to get some kind of excitement out of it.
People who don't understand the significance of what Craig Biggio is about to accomplish (not just the 3,000 hits) doesn't understand the role history plays in baseball.
yeah, it's really not a big deal. in fact, you should stop paying attention. i'd suggest not watching, thinking or discussing the astros again this season. maybe forever.
i guess i dont understand what you, or any fan, should really care about that for. if you knew that if they let biggio play till 2011, that he would reach #1 all time in doubles, would you be in favor of that?
A few questions... - What year did you become an Astros fan and how old were you? - Did you ever appreciate Craig Biggio as a player? - If the answer to the above question is "yes", what season did you quit appreciating Craig Biggio as a player?
