Better example would be Gary Patterson at TCU. I think UH fans would be ecstatic if they could have that level of success over a decade-plus.
Since I'm 0-1, didn't Patterson sign as UH coach, then back out a day later? I remember something about a house being bought for him over a period of time as part of an innovative contract offer. Any body else remember that? Was it somebody else? 70's were more fun than I realized?
