Man, **** all this **** about black this and white that. Blacks kills whites, whites kill blacks, blacks kill blacks, and whites kill whites. There is too much ******* murdering, violence and hatred going on in this country.

What we should all be focusing on and looking to fix is the underlying causes of all this violence. Sure, family structure, religion and upbringing may play a part, but really this is about having lost respect and decency for your fellow Americans and human beings.

Most of you are too busy "sword-fighting" to really address this as part of the discussion. Imagine what this country could achieve without all of the hatred and violence.

You left out homicides, about half of which are committed by black people.

Additionally, given that white people still comprise about 70% of the American population, it's not overly surprising that they form a majority in many crime categories. It's the proportions that count, not the absolute numbers. That said, given that criminals are overwhelmingly male, it is probably fair to say that white males are overrepresented in certain categories (e.g. child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, etc.).

In any event, all of this is just correlation until someone comes up with a viable race-violence study. RIP to the veteran.

this is a disgusting crime, but one should not hasten to advocate for drastic changes, or to condemn entire cultures, when crime and violence as a whole has been decreasing (both on a short-term and long-term basis).

 

That's because hispanic isn't technically a racial category, in reality or for the purpose of most US statistics. It simply refers to any group that has connections to the Iberian peninsula. They are subsumed into the "white" and "other" categories; I think it's about 50-50.
