He's not that good. Blake Bortles 2.0 at best.

If they all come out, there will be four quarterbacks probably taken in the first round. Even if we make the playoffs, we'll get one of them, whether we need to trade or not.

    Tanking is stupid.

What happens if you tank and Lynch, Goff, and Hackenberg decide not to come out?

then you clearly havent seen lynch play. i wasnt high on bortles coming out as a prospect. lynch is going to be a better prospect. better tools than bortles.

that wont happen. at least 2 of the 3 is guaranteed to come out. lynch for sure since his hc is going to get a job in a P5 school.

look at the teams that will need a qb.

I agree. Just playing devil's advocate.

I think the only one that's at risk not to come out is Goff. He's been bad as of late.

I think Hackenberg comes out. I think scouts have seen what they need from him. I also think that O'Brien needing a quarterback might influence him a bit. Against Illinois, broadcasters were speculating that Hackenberg may want to return in order to shore up his draft status, and also because their offense is young, and their team has potential next year. I wholeheartedly disagree. I think he should come out. Partly because he or Cook are the quarterbacks that I want (as of now), and I think Cook will go before Hack.

Texans are only a game and a half out of the wild card spot. That spot is currently being held by the Raiders and the Jets. The NFL is just really bad this year. Very top heavy.

Sure, WE'D be happy with any of the 4 to fall to the Texans, but it's entirely possible that the one that falls could be the one that BOB dislikes the most, and he passes for a 3rd or 4th round guy to compete with Savage for 2016.

    Could happen.

I think, with confidence, though, that O'Brien would do everything in his power to trade up for his guy in that scenario.

Optimistically could go 5-2 rest of way and finish 9/7 if defense Keeps playing like this. I'm concerned about the lack of tuning game though

Funny how 6-7 and despite having a terrible record, still in it to win division. And if the colts wasnt having such a bad year you would here all kinds of s--- talking about throwing the season away, etc... still thou they have a long ways to go..

If the Texans had improved the QB position instead of downgraded it over last year then they could have been in line for a 10 or 11 win season this year. Unfortunately....well Hoyer happened.

Hoyer wasn't a downgrade, just a lateral move. His stats are better than Fitz this year.

The Mallet circus cost us a couple games.

Either way, the roster isn't very good. That's the bottom line.

the defense is going to continue to get better as clowney grows, just need to find a young tall intelligent qb, with a nice, doesn't have to be stellar arm but can make all the throws type qb. oh an full set of hair. With what hoyer is doing, I'm sure the right rookie can do the same.

They win the Colts game, they'll run the table no doubt. We play Jags at home btw.

You're right. So we're probably favored in two of the last 3
