Yeah, and out of those ten, any number could be busts.

That's just it. Are they worse than the Kentucky guys? We don't know that yet.

Surprised no one has brought up coaching. A really good college coach with A+ talent could beat a historically bad NBA team. Unlike football, individual talent rises above all, often times.

Do any of Yall notice how hard it is for college teams to score? As bad as Phily is, they're still full of NBA players... Kentucky has a lot of talent, but this is a ridiculous conversation to have!

Didn't John Calipari once say something like MANY NBA teams could beat them. MANY.

Have you heard of coach's speak? I'm sure John Calipari became a successful coach by telling his players how good they are.

Also, when did Calipari become a person of honesty?

If any "sports fan" truly believes the sixers would lose to a college team then they must not know a lot about sports. 7 game series it would a sweep and in a single game, the sixers will win by at least 25.

    No.

Speed, length, strength and NBA level player development are decisive factors.

It's not an accident that it takes a long time for new players to adjust to the speed and pace of a NBA game. The 76ers have been playing against NBA caliber competition for some time against competition that is among the best on the planet.

Defense alone would put Kentucky at a huge disadvantage. Sure, you put the 76ers offense against a legitimate NBA defense and they'll have problems, but college players are terrible defenders. Look at the number of actual games that College teams play in a season... the 76ers have already added the equivalent of College games to their experience pool and have done it under stiffer competition and more stressful conditions (back to backs, travel and significantly less rest).

Similarly, the 76ers can't defend their way out of a paper bag, but that's against superior and more experienced athletes at the NBA level. Neither of those issues apply to Kentucky.

I'll take the 76ers in a series. Maybe the Kentucky starters can keep it somewhat close for a while, but their bench will end up being crushed. 48 vs 40 minutes means that they actually have to use more players. And the extended 3 point line will reduce their outside shooting efficiency.

College teams just aren't on the same level when taken as an entire roster.
