This kid is destined for stardom. He's physically imposing, freakishly athletic, and very skilled for his size. Potential one-and-done destinations narrowed down to Arizona, Kentucky, Oregon, and Washington. He has multi-year NBA All-Star written all over him. <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/J7tkhuLEJig" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="560"></iframe>
I can't tell from the video... can he dunk? Looks like another one-and-done for the NBA Draft Class of 2014. Guess it's good the Rockets will be free of the T-Will obligation by then. Being free to trade that year's pick, even if it's not likely to be a top pick, could prove valuable.
We cannot trade that pick until draft night because trading it would cause us not to have a pick in 2013 and 2014, 2 consecutive years. Ted Stepien rule. We would be free to trade the 2015 pick, however.
Whoa. He would easily won the NBA dunk contest the last two years. How have I not heard of him? Did he just hit a growth spurt?
Always looks better when your the fastest, strongest, most athletic, and tallest dude on the court every night... Like all these hyped up dudes...gotta wait until they hit college to really see how they are.
Saw Aaron Gordon when his team came to Mo City to play against Travis and the Harrison twins. Was not impressed. He is extremely gifted athletically but I don't expect him to be special next year at Kentucky.
No left hand and no jumper. Doesn't seem like he can finish in traffic unless its going along the base line with his right hand. Still I'm sure he can polish those things up.
He's going to Kentucky, for sure? Man, why can't some of these prospects go to lesser known schools? lol
He's going to Arizona and Sean Miller will make him a beast. Close to the same mold as Derrick Williams but Gordon will be able to play primarily at the 3, which is what he wants to be as a pro.
Stepien rule applies to future years. Once the 2013 draft is finished and our pick obligation to the Hawks is extinguished (knock on wood, assuming we make the playoffs), we are free to trade our 2014 pick.
His handles remind me of KD & his athleticism reminds me of McGee. Dude has got the tools to be a star.
I need to get the soundtrack from that tape, all the rhythmic oohs and ahhhs and applause, to play while I have my bowel movements.
