Out of the four current and one past hosts that work during the busiest times of the day (drive time), only ONE actually gave props to the site. Lance does promote the site and does a terrific job of it. Charlie, Rich and Mark have all been beyond dismissive. Hell, I've had Charlie and Rich tell me DIRECTLY that they don't do fansites. I've been told that Mark doesn't like the site because posters on the board are too harsh. Well, duh. Welcome to the internet. The funny thing is that Rich and Charlie used info I have given them when it was posted on the board before anyone else had it - breaking news that just hit the wires or whatever. So, if it is WORTH IT, they'll talk about it. Just have to get them to mention where it came from without feeling embarrassed.
I think that comes from being old school radio guys. They shouldn't be embarrassed. It drives me insane that that is the case. Of the four drive time guys only Lance actively uses the Internet outside of ESPN.com, foxsports.com, or other authentic news sites. All of the rest of the internet is full of fringe wacko's to those other three technical dinosaurs.
