I came to this thread expecting to find a podcast of the DM interview, as in times past. I'll check 610's site or maybe someone will post it here?

I dunno, DD. Every time I click the link it takes me to a player. When I look around that player I don't see the DM podcast, or I could have missed it. But I will post the direct link.

    Good interview.

I don't agree with DM saying that NO is a good offensive team. NO is more a defensive minded team than offensive in controlling the clock and relying on defense. Their offense runs mostly through CP and some post-up and face up game with West. However, I agree with his assessment that we cannot lose this Dallas game because we could possibly lose HCA and winning at Portland and San Anotionio's home will be very tough.

I am glad one of the questioners talked about how it was fools gold that the lack of fronting and double team defesive that Yao has been seeing the last few games. You can bet on teams doubling and fronting Yao more in the playoffs. Stopping Yao will be the everyone's gameplan and the response to how we handle this will be key to our playoff run. DM said that they have been working with Yao to get off more shots thus potentually drawing more fouls and passing out in critical situations when doubles do come and grabbing more offensive rebounds when teams front. I think in the playoffs we'll utilize Yao's size by hard cuts to the basket from the weakside.

    agreed!

IMO the season is on the line. they've got to play much harder than dallas, play like there is no tomorrow. a win opens the door to the WCF, a loss makes another first round exit entirely too possible for my taste.

as you said, if they can't pull this one out then they aren't good enough to do anything in the playoffs anyway.
