With that kind of freak athleticism, maybe he can make it. You know how hard it is to dunk like that when you're 5'6"? The NBA is less about raw height these days than about how high up your can get your hands. Who knows maybe he's the next Mugsy Bogues
More like European ball. The kid was offered a $750k contract by an italian team when he was a sophomore.
Like Kiwi and Peewee more. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ZWAeYpnqksc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XepZ91jDnlA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
There's no real reason to think a guy like that can't slice out some minutes in the league....height be damned.
Even with his ridiculous athletic ability, most PG's in the NBA are around 6'2-6'3. It's hard to see him able to guard someone 9 inches taller than him at the NBA level.
Believe it or not, Muggsy Bogues was only 5'3" and known for his defense. Plus during one season averaged 10 points, 10 assists with only two turnovers, and 1.7 steals at a clip of 47% FG. Sometimes its all about the game, not the height.
Well the games a bit different these days, the shorties will not bother a 6'3" PG's 3 pointer attempt
The kid is NICE! I would give him a stint in the d league and see if he can still hold his own ....but he deserves a shot ...toooooooooooo much talent to sleep on no matter his height.
