    Cooper was so far ahead of everyone else playing in those early years.

    I pretty much lost interest in the WNBA after she retired.

    I lost interest in the WNBA once the Comets left town.

    It was a run like no other. I loved that team. Single elimination that first year and only 2 of 3 games for the 3 subsequent Championships. You didn't have the benefit of getting past a couple bad games back then and still have a chance to win. That's what made that 4-peat so incredible. Houston had the best team and coach in the world in women's basketball. Those were exciting times.

    Agreed. After they left . . . . really after Hilton Furniture bought them . . . .I lost interest
